Bears claim third at LCC Invitational
LAUREL — Mother Nature seemed in as good a mood as she had been all spring last Tuesday, allowing for some good results for the LaurelConcord-Coleridge track teams during their home meet last week at Haskell Stadium.
The LCC boys finished third in a competitive seventeam field, and the Lady Bears ended the day in sixth place against some solid area competition.
The Bears boys earned a trio of firstplace finishes on the day. Coby Babl won the high jump with a winning mark of 6 feet, Noah Schutte claimed honors in the long jump at 19 feet, 4 inches, and Landen Boysen cracked the tape first in the 800meter run with a winning time of 2:13.46.
