LCC students learn about Digital Citizenship

LAUREL — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Middle School Student Council members are educating fellow students and school board members on the importance of Digital Citizenship. The group of five LCC Middle School Student Council members include Alison Babl, Maddy Graham, Delaney Hall, Delaney Johnson and Toni Thompson.  

“Digital Citizenship is when students learn, communicate, and collaborate safely using technology,” according to the seventh and eighth grade LCC Student Council members, the term is definedin the group’s collaborated slide show.

Earlier in the semester, the group attended a conference in Columbus, NE where Karen Hasse was the keynote speaker, the girls also heard a presentation from a state patrol officer. The girls grew in their knowledge and understanding of being a digital citizen. With this information, the girls wanted to share and educate others.
