WSC students use newspaper relics to help show off Laurel’s history

LAUREL — A Wayne State College professor has taken a bit of newspaper history and turned it into art.

Wayne State art professor Meghan O’Connor had her Printmaking I students learn how to clean, ink, and print select historical photo-engraved letterpress blocks from the Laurel Advocate and Cedar County News collection.
