A break in the rain Friday afternoon allowed area residents to get out and get caught up on things such as cutting the grass, as Laurel City employee Ryan Bathke did. Luke Erwin and Dreyson Puppe had other ideas like riding their bikes, while others, like Anita Gade, decided front porch time was needed.
