Lauren D. Johnson, 100, Laurel, died Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel. His 100th birthday here back in March turned into quite an occasion.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 4.7 percent of Americans will reach the age of 90 with the majority being women.
