Council hears City Auditorium assessment

LAUREL — City leaders have been considering options for the city auditorium for nearly five years, now. A November, 2014 strategic planning session noted that community surveys showed interest for a community center in Laurel. Currently, City Hall, the Senior Center and the City Auditorium here are all housed in the same building in downtown Laurel. A Civic and Community Center Financing Fund (CCCF) Committee was organized in 2017 to examine the current facility.
