Community to mark 75th anniversary of B-17 bomber crash

LAUREL — Members of the Laurel Vets invite the public to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the B-17 bomber crash.

The event will be Aug. 4, from 2-4 p.m. at the club. “We want to welcome anyone who would be interested in plane crashes or any WWII buffs to come out and learn about what happened here,” Dwayne Freeman, Vets Club member, said.
