Area residents share Christmas memories

LAUREL — Christmas is a holiday deeply rooted in traditions.
The residents and visitors of Hillcrest Care Center enjoyed reminiscing about family holiday traditions recently.
During the Care Center’s annual hanging of the greens, Shirley Bush was busy helping Jennifer Smith, laundry aide, decorate the community tree in the dining hall. Bush placed each of the ornaments on the tree with care. While Bush and Smith were busy decorating, other members visited and enjoyed Christmas cookies.
