Area couple helps others through bike ride

LAUREL — Raising awareness and biking are two passions for Reverends Jim and Kathleen Splitt.
The couple has been able to take both passions and combine them.
The couple recently registered to be just two of 130 participants in the Habitat 500 — a 500-mile bike ride hosted by the Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota.
The ride begins in Minneapolis, and ends in Eagle Butte, SD, lasting six days.
