LCC Lady Bears fall to 5-12 with latest losses

HARTINGTON — The Laurel- Concord-Coleridge girls basketball team dropped a pair of games last week to fall to 5-12 on the season. On Tuesday, the Lady Bears couldn’t keep pace with Hartington- Newcastle as the Wildcats came away with a 59-38 win.

The Cats built a 14-point halftime advantage and never let the Lady Bear offense get going in posting the 21-point win. Ashley Wolfgram led the Lady Bears with nine points and Delaney Ehlers and Makayla Forsberg each added five. Also scoring were Madisyn Hall and Bryn Schutte with four points apiece, Bethany Kardell and Erica Wolfgram each had three and Lorna Maxon and Katelyn Steffen both had two.
