LCC golfers compete at L&C Conference meet

PLAINVIEW — Golfers braved cool winds and Laurel-Concord-Coleridge came home with a medal during Monday’s Lewis & Clark Conference golf meet at Plainview Country Club.

Evan Schmitt shot a 97 to finish 12th in the 43-golfer field to lead the LCC effort.

Isrhael Vance shot a 128 on the nine-hole course, shooting 68 the first time around and 60 on the second tour.

The high school golf season is now on the down swing.
