Lady Bears cruise to easy wins last week

LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Lady Bears had no problems posting a pair of wins last week, taking care of business with sweeps over Emerson-Hubbard (25-8, 25-15, 25-11) and Plainview (25-13, 25-11, 25-14).

In the win over Emerson-Hubbard, the Lady Bears recorded 19 ace serves, led by Makayla Forsberg with eight. Erica Wolfgram added five aces, Kinsey Hall had four and Erica Benson had two. Wolfgram led the Lady Bears’ net attack with 13 kills, Benson and Delaney Ehlers each had six and Forsberg and Berniece Mc-Corkindale each had four. Hall finished with 26 assists in the match. Defensively, Hall had seven digs, Ehlers had five, Forsberg and Wolfgram both had four, Kaylee Donner had three and Benson picked up a pair.
