Bears hit the century mark in win over Bees

BLOOMFIELD — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge boys basketball team lit up the scoreboard in Bloomfield on Tuesday, breaking the century mark with a 100-74 win over the Bees.

The hosts tried to keep pace early, but LCC rode the hot shooting duo of Izac Reifenrath and Noah Schutte to a 54-31 halftime advantage. Both teams scored in bunches in the second half, but Bloomfield was unable to shoot themselves back in the game.

Four players finished in double figures for the Bears, led by the double-doubles of Reifenrath (34 points, 10 rebounds) and Schutte (33 points, 21 rebounds). Ty Erwin tossed in 14 points and Cael Hartung added 10 for the winners.
