Lady Bears split up L&C road match-ups
PONCA — The LCC Lady Bears split a pair of road games last week against Lewis & Clark Conference opponents.
On Tuesday, the Lady Bears got off to a slow start and couldn’t recover as they dropped a 53-40 decision at Ponca.
The Lady Indians pressured the Lady Bears in the early going and were able to build an 18-point halftime advantage. LCC was able to get things going offensively in the fourth quarter, but the deficit was too big for them to overcome.
Makayla Forsberg paced the Lady Bears with 13 points and Kinsey Hall and Madisyn Hall each had seven points. Katelyn Steffen scored four, Bethany Kardell had three and Makayla Forsberg, Lorna Maxon and Delaney Ehlers each had two.
