A messy combination

It looked like Christmas in July as Jennifer Van Meter, Melissa Graf, Mindy Bach and Susan Kurtzhals had one heck of a time trying to load beans into beanbag chairs at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Middle School Monday. Wind blew some of the spare beans around creating what looked like snow flowing all around them. With about three beanbags to fill, all four women helped to get the chore done, even if a few hundred spare beans escaped. At one point, they resorted to making a funnel out of cardboard to help control the flow of the beans.
