Landowners told to control weeds in road ditches

HARTINGTON — Cedar County commissioners got an update on noxious weeds at their June 11 meeting.

Dave Boschult, the Nebraska State Noxious Weed Control Superintendent, met with the commissioners, which he does annually.

Discussion centered around who has responsibility for the county road ditches in terms of noxious weed control and removing trees and tree saplings in the road ditches.
