County gives a hand to Randolph Area Veterans Memorial

HARTINGTON – Cedar County Commissioners were briefed at their July 9 meeting on the planned Randolph Area Veterans Memorial project that is currently underway.

Bob Kint and John Gubbels, who are both on the Randolph Area Veterans Memorial Planning Committee, gave commissioners an update on their progress to date on the new veterans memorial that will be constructed by the baseball field on land donated by the City of Randolph. The new memorial will replace a smaller memorial that was wrecked by a windstorm in 2016.
