Area residents gearing up for start of Cedar Co. Fair

HARTINGTON — Putting this year’s Cedar County Fair together has been more than a little challenging.

Cedar County Ag Society members and other area volunteers have been putting inlonghoursatthefairgrounds ever since the March floods covered the fairgrounds with several feet of water, causing about $200,000 in damage by wiping out one building and damaging several other structures.
