Rural Knox County buildings to be appraised

CENTER —  A review on rural buildings in Knox County is scheduled to start this spring.
Knox County Supervisors agreed to hire Blaser Appraisal Inc. in Norfolk to complete a review on rural buildings across the county.
A fee will be paid for each building spot that is reviewed. Photos will be taken at the site. The inspection fee is set at $30 per parcel with no added mileage fee. An additional fee would be added if the contract involves placing a valuation on each building. The total cost of the project could run between $60,000 to $65,000.
