Wausa 14&Under team enjoy run at State Tournament

HASTINGS — The Wausa Vikings 14 and under team competed at the Nebraska Class D State Softball tournament July 13-15, in Hastings.

Their first game was July 13 against Blue Hill. The game was played in a light drizzle of rain but that didn’t seem to bother anyone as the Vikings played a close game, with it being tied for a majority of the game at 2-2, until the fifth inning when the Lady Vikings were able to pull ahead by two runs.
