Wausa church marks special anniversary

WAUSA — The Covenant Church in Wausa marked 125 years in style. It was a wonderful celebration of Praise to God for His many blessings, faithfulness, love, grace and mercy to us over the 125 years of the church’s existence. Sunday began with Rally Sunday activities as we kicked off the beginning of Sunday School for the year. The worship service included praise songs, hymns, a message from Ken Carlson, former Midwest Conference Superintendent. Updates were also given on former pastors able to attend, and letters read from former pastors unable to attend. A delicious meal, catered by Jerry’s Hilltop, was enjoyed in the church basement following the service. A program followed in the sanctuary, beginning with a hymn of thanks
