National survey gives Neb. high marks
Lincoln — Nebraska ranks highly in services and supports provided to individuals with developmental disabilities, including work, voting and volunteerism, according to a recently-released national survey.
The survey, called the National Core Indicators (NCI) Adult Consumer Satisfaction Survey, is a collaborative effort between the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS), the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) and U.S. states. The purpose of the program is to support states collecting a standard set of developmental disability-related performance and outcome measures to maximize effectiveness of developmental disability services for participating states.
