More candidates file for offices

CENTER — Candidate filings are beginning to pick up at the Knox County Clerk’s Office.

The incumbent deadline to file for the following local races is Feb. 15 and March 1 is the deadline for non-incumbents.

Up for election this year are the County Offices of Assessor, Attorney, Clerk, Clerk of District Court, Sheriff, Surveyor, Treasurer, and Supervisors Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7.
