Wausa tradition to live on

WAUSA — The Wausa Smorgasbord Committee met recently to make decisions on the future of the smorgasbord.
This meeting used information gathered from the public meeting held at the Lied Lincoln Township Library.
At this meeting 15 concerned citizens were in attendance. Ideas were shared and a discussion was held.
The committee had a follow-up meeting and made decisions that will reflect solutions to committee concerns. The continued decline in attendance and the difficulty in finding workers were the two main concerns.
The Oct. 14 Wausa Smorgasbord will limit guests to 250. The price for the upcoming smorgsbord will be $18 for adults, $8 for ages 5-10 and under five will be free.
