Wausa Parent Council plans to disband

WAUSA — A leadership void may mean Wausa Elementary teachers and students may not have the resources provided in the past.

For the last six years, Jessica Kaiser, Main Street Grocery Manager, and mother of three, Tyson, Jaide, and Abby, has served as President of the Wausa Elementary Parent Council.

This year she is stepping down and no one has stepped up to fill the position.

“I would be willing to help anyone as little or as much as they would like,” Kaiser said. “Parent Council is an awesome program that needs to be there. It benefits the Wausa Public School teachers and students so much.”

Kindergarten teacher Robbi Johnson said Kaiser and the Council have been great for the school.
