Wausa Parent Council holds Box Top challenge

WAUSA — The Wausa Parent Council is having a monthly competition for the elementary students on who can bring in the most box tops during each month. Every student who brings in box tops will have a chance to win a grand prize at the end of the school year. A big prize will be given to a student who brings in the most box tops during each month.

November Box Top Winner was Emma Story and December Box Top Winner is Elle Brazel.

There were 25 other kids who brought in box tops in November/December with a grand total just for both months were 1060 box tops. Way to support your school! The school goal for this school year is to raise $500.00. The school receives 10 cents for every box top brought in. They are currently at $106. The next competition is for the month of January. All box tops need to be turned in, in a Ziplock bag with names or initials on the back of each box top. Box tops will be picked up Jan. 31 at 3:45 p.m. and winner will be announced Feb. 1.

Tell your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins to start saving those box tops for you because the final prize is a good one!

Please support the Wausa elementary by clipping those box tops and placing them in the mailbox in the breezeway.
