School board accepts Stratman’s resignation

WAUSA  — Action was taken at Monday’s Wausa School Board meeting to hire a music teacher and to accept the resignation of a teacher who had been at the school for the past 10 years.
Wausa School board placed their approval on a contract for Rachel Kleinschmit as the K-12 music teacher for the 2017-18 school year.
Supt. Brad Hoesing and school board members praised the performance of the students at the annual “Spring Concert” held on Tuesday evening, April 11.
Kleinschmit, who has been a long-term substitute teacher at the Wausa School, did an excellent job working with the junior high and high school students who performed in the concert, said Supt. Hoesing.
