Residents asked to help with Wausa beautification

WAUSA — With the Wausa 125th celebration nearing, it is time to begin thinking about beautification projects to be done to improve the community. The Q125 steering committee has several tentative plans all ready in place that are sure to bring large crowds to Wausa for the event, so any and all help in enhancing Wausa’s charm is appreciated.

Committees have been formed to cover all aspects of the celebration, and it is not too late join in on the fun.

To get started, contact Doug Johnson, Ann Pfeil, Jane Wilbeck, Darren Vanness, Jess Barta, Neal Seagren, Heather Carlson, Joni Burns or Crystal Wells.

In addition, anyone who has historic items that can be placed in window displays should contact Vonel or Marilyn Anderson.

Wausa’s Q125 will be held Aug. 29 – Sept. 7, 2015.

Look for exciting updates on the upcoming celebration in the Wausa Gazette and call a committee member to get involved today.
