Levy set for Knox County Ag Society

CENTER — Knox County Supervisors agreed to raise the 2017 levy for the Knox County Ag Society.
Jerry Nipp, Secretary/Fair Manager, spoke to board members during the Knox County meeting on Aug. 31.
The Knox County Fair, which is under the direction of the Ag Society, was held August 10-13,
“The first two days of the fair went really well with good numbers – then it started to rain and the attendance was down,” Nipp said. “We did not break even with the cost of the entertainment because of the weather.”
The Knox County Fair will be celebrating 100 years this next year in 2018 according the Nipp.
