Knox County historical tour is planned for Sept. 22

PLAINVIEW — The Northeast Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development Council will hold a history tour of Knox County later this month.
The tour is a one-day motorcoach tour of rural Knox County. It will feature historic churches, the Jules Sandoz log cabin, an Amish lunch at a rural Amish Schoolhouse, and stops at Monowi and Pischelville.
Historian July Carlson will also talk about the history of Knox County during the tour.
This Heritage and History Tour is Friday, Sept. 22.
The bus departs Jerry’s Hilltop at 7:30 a.m., and departs the Creighton Library at 8:30 a.m.
There is a fee to take part in the tour, that includes transportation, noon meal, snacks, and all gratuities.
Pre-registration is required by Sept. 15.
