Huge Labor Day celebration is planned in Wausa

WAUSA — Cars, horse shoes, family food and fun will be the order of the day this weekend for Wausa’s annual Labor Day celebration.
The festivities begin Saturday, Sept. 2, with a trap shoot, which starts at 11 a.m.
A mud volleyball tournament will also be held by the swimming pool Saturday morning.
Another fun event — a Slip N Slide kickball tournament  — will also take place Saturday morning.
The Wausa FBLA Chapter will do its best to feed the hungry athletes with a BBQ, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Gladstone Park.
The day will wind up with a Teen Dance. from 8:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
Sunday’s Labor Day weekend activities kick off with the fireman’s breakfast, from 7-11 a.m., at the Wausa Fire Hall.
