Fairy tale theme filled prom is a night to remember

WAUSA — “Once upon a time, in a faraway land… A prom celebration had been planned. A fairytale theme filled the multipurpose room on April 2.
There was a great turn out this year from students and staff alike. The multipurpose room was transformed into some of the most lovable fairy tales known. The room was decorated in white, silver and blue.
To add to this fairy tale dream the art students along with Karen Eddie and Tanya McFarland created a magical land. Cinderella’s Castle, with its glittering blue gates and a Knight protecting the castle from the dragon. A bridge that lead students into a sparkling grove of trees along the trail to Giant Story Book, which continued on to Rapunzel’s tower.  Sleeping Beauty’s Castle with its silvery Gates created the perfect back drop to the sophomore entertainers, who were dressed like waiters accented with blue bow ties and cover buns. Among other decorations there was a giant clock, queen and king chairs, blue sparkled pumpkins, and a lighted carriage greeted guests at the entrance.
