County Supervisors get complaints, thanks at November meeting

WAUSA — Knox County board members received some complaints on a bridge closing and also received a pat on the back and a thank you during the Nov. 12 Supervisor meeting.

Problems have been incurring on the “Liska” bridge, four miles north of Verdigre.

The bridge was officially closed after an engineer deemed the bridge unsafe after a bridge inspection was done.

Barricades were placed on the road to eliminate traffic on the bridge.

People have been removing the barricades and driving across the bridge which is a safety hazard according to Hwy. Supt. Kevin Barta.
