Obituary – Bonny Korth

OSMOND — Services for Bonny L. Korth, 79, of Osmond were at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at United Methodist Church in Osmond. Rev. Rodgers Chishiba officiated with burial in HillcresBonny-Kortht Memorial Park Cemetery at Norfolk. Music was provided by organist Charlotte Kiichler, soloist Rock Roxbury and pianist Shirley Hetrick.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Stonacek

Bonny died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
The daughter of John and Inez (Atwood) Ballard was born Sept. 30, 1936, at Norfolk. She attended Norfolk High School to the 11th grade. On June 2, 1954, she married Leon Siecke in Norfolk. The couple lived in Randolph for 17 years. She married William Korth on July 27, 1971, in Boise, ID. The family lived in Norfolk. They moved to a farm by McLean in 1973, and then to Osmond in 1976. She was a nurse’s aide in Osmond and Randolph, and later worked at Petersen Food and Florist in Osmond. Bonny enjoyed writing stories and poetry, crocheting, cross stitching, puzzles and playing cards. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Osmond, United Methodist Women, SPRC and was a lay leader.

Survivors include her spouse, Bill Korth of Osmond; children Peggy (Dan) B
epfather Elmer Beaty and stepmother Clara Beaty.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested balloons in memory of Bonny for Bonny’s Going Home Party.
