It's official – Stanton

HARTINGTON — All five of Cedar County’s high school football teams have advanced to the post-season.

Cedar Catholic and Laurel-Concord/Coleridge have advanced to the final 32 in Class C2, while Hartington and Randolph made the post-season in Class D1.
Wynot will compete in this week’s Class D2 playoffs. The Blue Devils drew the toughest assignment. They have to face 10-time state champion Howells in the first round.
Hartington’s Wildcats have an equally tough task. The Cats travel to Creighton to take on the 2010 state runner-up Bulldogs. Randolph travels to Neb. Christian.
Cedar Catholic has the top Cedar County seed. The Trojans earned the sixth seed in the East Bracket and will host Stanton at Russ Hochstein Field Thursday.
