Lady Cardinals bounce back with win over Allen Lady Eagles

RANDOLPH — After losing a couple of close games last week, the Randolph Lady Cards kicked off the new week with a convincing home win over Allen.

On Tuesday, the Lady Cards and Homer hooked up in an exciting back-and-forth affair in Homer that needed an extra period to determine the winner. Homer was able to outscore Randolph 11-6 in the four-minute overtime to come away with the 49-44 win.

Carlee Thies had 14 points and Jaiden Taylor added nine to lead the Lady Cards’ effort. Cindy Haselhorst put in six, Carlie Nordhues had five, Charlie Winkelbauer and Sophia Harder each had four and Emma Bermel put in two.
