Cardinal track teams compete in two meets

PLAINVIEW — Randolph’s track and field teams braved the elements and competed in two meets, seeing action in Plainview March 29 and Battle Creek on Thursday.

In the Plainview Invitational, the Lady Cards picked up a trio of medals and finished 10th out of 12 teams.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Keely Pinkelman, Emma Bermel, Charlie Winkelbauer and Bobbi Winkelbauer led the way, finishing fourth in a time of 12:03.6.

Randolph had two fifth-place finishes on the day. Charlie Winkelbauer came home in a time of 1:10.1 in the 400-meter run, and she also finished fifth in the 800-meter run with a clocking of 2:45.9.
