Huwaldts honored for their efforts with Pierce Threshing Bee
PIERCE — Keith and Virginia Huwaldt were honored as Grand Marshalls at this year’s Pierce Old Time Threshing Bee.
The rural Randolph couple have been members of the Threshing Bee Association for 42 years, first getting involved after attending their first meeting with the group on Feb.12, 1977.
They became very active with the group when they donated their threshing machine — a 28” McCormick Deering Threshing machine to the organization. They’ve also donated a John Deere binder, a hayrack and helped refurbish the Oliver hand-tie baler.
