Funds coming in to help get Randolph out of floodplain

HARTINGTON — Funds in the amount of $120,000 are being transferred to the City of Randolph from the Cedar County Road Department.
The funds will be used to replace a bridge on a county road on the Cedar/Pierce County line. The bridge replacement is part of the project that will remove 131 structures out of a total of 137 structures in the City of Randolph from the Floodplain.
Pierce County will provide a monetary contribution of $75,000 for the Cedar/Pierce bridge project.
