Osmond area residents pause, remember
OSMOND — Area residents took time on Monday, May 28, to pause and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The program was held at 11 a.m. in the Osmond Community School gym, under the auspices of American Legion Post 326 and its Auxiliary. Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7838, its Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion also took part in the ceremonies, which began with the presentation of The Colors. The Salute to the Flag was led by Vice Commander Roger Johnson, followed by the “National Anthem,” sung by the audience and accompanied by the Osmond High School Band. Rev. Glen Emery gave the invocation and the benediction.
