Obituary – Roy Richard Eisley

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Roy Richard Eisley, 82, Sioux City, Iowa, died Nov. 9, 2011, at a care center in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.
Services were Nov. 12 at Waterbury Funeral Service, Sergeant Bluff, with the Rev. Martha Anderson officiating.
Burial was in Graceland Park Cemetery.

Ray was born Sept. 12, 1929, in Wynot, to Wilson Sr. and Florence (Nordyke) Eisley. He spent most of his life in Sioux City and most recently resided at Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Ray worked for Uhl’s Turkey Farm for many years and also at the Sioux City Stockyards.
Ray was a very carefree, happy person who loved family, children and food.
Survivors include a brother, Levi Eisley, Sioux City, Iowa; his nephews, Wilson and wife, LuAnn Eisley, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Jim Eisley, Sioux City, Iowa; and his nieces, Judy Eisley, Sioux City, Iowa, and Janice Plendl, Sioux City, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
