CORNELIUS, Ore. — Linda J. Stamm, 71, Cornelius, died June 26, 2011, at her home.
Funeral Mass was celebrated June 30 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Forest Grove.
Rite of Christian Burial and Vault interment was the same day at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Roy, Ore.

Linda was born June 26, 1940, in Crofton. She was one of eight children born to Emil and Velma (Bartz) Tramp. She was raised and received her education in Crofton. She attended Crofton High School graduating with the Class of 1957. Linda moved to Oregon in 1963 to be closer to her two sisters.
Linda met her future husband, Gerald Stamm, at a dance. They soon began dating and were married 10 months later June 26, 1965, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Hillsboro, Ore. Following their marriage they made their home in Hillsboro until 1977 when they moved to Cornelius. Linda died on her 71st birthday and on their 46th wedding anniversary.
Linda worked for West Telephone Co., Tektronix and retired from Credence Systems in 2001.
She loved her family and her faith. She also loved vacationing at the coast. She was an avid gardener. She especially loved roses. She played cards and enjoyed reading mysteries.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; two children and their spouses, Michele and Don Thompson, Hettinger, N.D., and Todd and Rhonda Stamm, Beaverton, Ore.; a granddaughter, Cassie Stamm, Forest Grove, Ore.; and step-granddaughter, Courtney Vandecoevering, Beaverton, Ore.; sisters, Darlene Stratman, Lynette Onions and Sandy Thunker; a brother, Kim Tramp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Alvina Crawford and Merl and Dennis Tramp.
The family suggests donations in Linda’s name to The Oregon Stroke Center or The Heart Research Center at OHSU.
