Obituary – LeVern "Lee" Toman

CLARKSON – LeVern “Lee” Toman, 79, Clarkson, died Nov. 17, 2007, at Immanuel Medical Center, Omaha.
Services were held Wednesday at New Zion Presbyterian Church, Clarkson.
Interment was held at the Clarkson National Cemetery.


Miller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Lee was born Jan. 7, 1928, son of John and Helen (Bobec) Synovec, at Pierce. She graduated from Pierce High School. She married Joseph F. Toman Sr. at the Congregational Church, Pierce. They made their home in Clarkson where they owned and operated Toman City Market.
She is survived by her four children, Jackie and her husband, Ron Hanel, Clarkson; Nancy and her husband, Calvin Musil, Clarkson; Sheila and her husband, Ross Braithwait, Germantown, Tenn.; Joe and his wife, Carol Toman, Clarkson; brother, Gene and his wife, Joan Synovec, Nevis, Minn.; sister, Donna and her husband, Don Andrew, Randolph; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in 2003; an infant daughter, Jennifer; and an infant sister.
