Obituary – John McDonald

ARDMORE — John McDonald, 70, died March 22, 2011 at his home in Ardmore, Okla.
Visitation was March 26 at Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas.
A memorial service was held March 27, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jack Wallace officiating.
Cremation followed the service.

Richard was born April 17, 1940, to Avery J. “Mike” and Geraldine M. (Jones) McDonald at Milford. He grew up in Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School. He spent the past 40 years as a self-employed farrier in Nebraska and later in the Oklahoma/Texas area.
He is survived by three sons and spouses, Rick and Kim, Whitesboro, Texas; Randy and Lauri, Neola, Iowa; and Ryan and Cara, Carrollton, Texas; three daughters and spouses, Rhonda and Bill Stoneburner, Denton, Texas; Roxanne and Bruce Olson, Genoa; and Renee Dobbs, Ardmore, Okla.; and several grandchildren; two brothers, Orville, Snyder, and Mike, Norfolk; and many friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Roger.
