COLERIDGE — Gloria J. Graham, 84, Coleridge, died March 6, 2011, at her residence.
Visitation and a prayer service were March 10 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, and continued Friday at church one hour prior to services.
Funeral Services were March 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hartington, with the Rev. Lowell Hennigs officiating.
Burial was at the Coleridge City Cemetery, Coleridge.

Honorary Pallbearers were Brittany Graham, Irvin Holm, Arnold Anderson, Gilbert Brummels, Dwight Brandow, Rodney Hansen and Cliff Peck.
Pallbearers were Lance Blegen, Shane Blegen, Garret Graham, Keith Holm, Kirk Kunze, Kim Kunze, Tim Urwiler and John Leapley.
Gloria was born June 27, 1926, at Barney, N.D., to Elmer and Inga (Olson) Vafed. She grew up in Barney and McLeod, N.D., and graduated from Wyndmere High School in 1943. She graduated from North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, , N.D., in 1948, and it was during this time that she taught Arthur Murray Dance. She then worked in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Omaha and Sioux City, Iowa. She married Gordon Graham Sept. 29, 1951, at Sioux City, and they made their home on a farm west of Coleridge. In 1970, Gloria worked as a census taker for Cedar County. They moved to Hartington in 1979 when Gordon became sheriff and Gloria then became the cook for the prisoners. They moved back to Coleridge in 1991 and Gloria worked as a Deputy Clerk of the Court for Cedar County from 1973-1998.
Gloria was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Hartington, and the WELCA. She was a member of the Willing Workers Extension Club, PEO and Sons of Norway.
She loved to ride horses and was a former member of the Hartington Saddle Club and a former 4-H leader. She was an avid bowler, attending many national tournaments.
Gloria is survived by two children and their spouses, Rozanne Graham, and her husband, Dan Blegen, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Gary and Cindy Graham, Hartington; four grandchildren, Lance Blegen, Shane Blegen, Garret Graham and Brittany Graham; and a sister, Vylet Vafed, Wahpeton, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon, June 26, 2004, at the age of 81; and three brothers, Andrew J., Duane and Eddie Leland Vafed.
