Obituary – Carol R. Carson

WAKEFIELD — Carol R. Carson, 74, Wakefield, died   Nov. 16, 2011, at Providence Medical Center, Wayne.
The visitation was Nov. 17  at the Bressler~Munderloh Funeral Home,  Wakefield.
Funeral services were Nov. 18 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wayne, with Father Mark Beran officiating.
Burial was in the Wakefield Cemetery.

Carol was born July 30, 1937, in Randolph, to Paul and Agnes (Rohloff) Neubauer. She married Arland “Red” Carson March 31, 1959, in Randolph.  “Red” passed away May 27, 2004. The couple moved to Wakefield in 1969.
She worked as a cook at various restaurants including the Lounge and the Bowling Alley and was active in the Gardner Senior Center.
She loved baking, walks, gardening and her dog, Scooter, but most of all, her family.
Carol is survived by her children, Tami Hammer and her husband, Rick, Wakefield; Sandi Stuck and her husband, Bob, Norfolk; Kristi Foote and her husband, Ed, and Jeanni Carson, both of Wakefield; and a brother, Dick Neubauer and, Eileen, his wife, Yankton, S.D.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Virgil Podan, Randolph; and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Neubauer, Omaha.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, “Red;” brother, Jim; and sisters, Marilyn Podany and Mary Lea Neubauer.
