Obituary – Carleen Boeckman

LINCOLN—Carleen Mary Ann Boeckman, 56, died Feb. 21, 2008, at home in Lincoln.
Visitation was Feb. 24 at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Funeral services were Feb. 25 at Capitol City Christian Church, Lincoln, with Pastor Bill Thornton officiating.
Carleen was born to Lawrence and Clara (Reifenrath) Mathers Jan. 24, 1952. She attended grade school in Obert, and graduated from Wynot High School in 1970. She married Darrell Wiebelhaus in 1970 and they had five children. In 1991, Carleen married David Boeckman. They had four children.
Carleen was a homemaker most of her life. She lived in Omaha for 14 years, and in Wynot for a couple years. In later years, she lived in Lincoln.
She worked for Tabitha House, Lincoln, for five years until she became ill in February 2006 with cancer.
She was a member of Capitol City Christian Church, Lincoln.
Survivors include four daughters and five sons and their spouses, Shannon and Nathan Guenther, Lincoln; Melissa Wiebelhaus, Arion, Iowa; Crystal Wiebelhaus, Arion, Iowa; Keesha Boeckman, Lincoln; Noel and Kyrstal Wiebelhaus, Manilla, Iowa; Shawn and Erin Wiebelhaus, Ankeny, Iowa; Brandon Boeckman, Lincoln; Troy Boeckman, Lincoln; and Cole Boeckman, Lincoln; three grandchildren, Morgan Wiebelhaus, Ankeny, Iowa; and Erica and Hailey Guenther, Lincoln; sister Marlene Hintz, Omaha; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.
