Obituary – Anthony Francis Van Slyke

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Anthony Francis Van Slyke, 41 Sioux Falls, S.D., died peacefully at home Oct. 27, 2011, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Visitation and a Rosary were Oct. 30 at Johnson Funeral Home, Randolph.
Funeral Services were Oct. 31 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Randolph, with Rev. Michael J. Swanton officiating.
Interment was in St. Frances Catholic Cemetery, Randolph.

Pallbearers were Shawn Wattier, Brian Sauser, Scott Sauser, Jeff Bermel, Kevin Boots and Paul Wiley.
Tony was born July 15, 1970, in Osmond, to Marlin and Pat Van Slyke. He attended Randolph Public School and graduated in 1988. He worked at Sioux Printing, Sioux Falls, for 20 years, until it recently dissolved. He was currently employed by Western Commercial Printing in Sioux Falls.
Tony enjoyed his dart league, biking and music. He also dedicated himself to family and friends with special attention to those under four feet tall.
Tony is survived by his parents, Marlin and Pat Van Slyke, Randolph; four sisters and spouses, Karin and David Paasch, Scribner; Janine and Ahmed Choudhury, Urbandale, Iowa; Maggie and Randy Korth, Randolph; and Joanna and Josh Rayford, Randolph; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kremer, Hartington; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Penny Jo Van Slyke; his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Evelyn Van Slyke; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Kremer.
