Bears notch their first win at Winnebago
LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge football team blew a two-touchdown lead, but righted the ship in time and came away with a 40-34 win over Winnebago on the road Friday night.
The Bears got out to a 12-0 lead early in the game when Noah Schutte hauled in a 53- yard pass from Izac Reifenrath, one of four connections between the quarterback and receiver on the night. Reifenrath called his own number on a four-yard scamper to give the Bears the quick 12-0 lead.
