Ag Herian, Winell Suckstorf are Outstanding Fair Individuals

The Outstanding Fair Individual Award is given to those who have supported and participated in the Pierce County Fair for a number of years. The Fair Board felt this year’s recipients were by far deserving of this award. The following was read during the award ceremony held Friday, Aug. 3, at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.

These ladies have participated in the Pierce County Fair for as long as either of them can remember – probably longer than some of you are old! They began coming to the fair as children, helping their parents with exhibits, continuing with children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren participating in 4-H, as well as exhibiting baked goods, handiwork, quilts and gardening and flowers themselves.
